Medicals by type — this month
No medicals this month.
Lifecycle of each medical: Initial (first-time / entry) · Periodic (annual re-check) · Exit (leaving the business) · Other (follow-up, return-to-work, validation, transfer, etc.).

Risk prevention — this month
Every medical is a chance to catch a health risk before it becomes a workplace incident. These numbers show what we surfaced + what we cleared this month.

Top reasons for follow-up — this month
No follow-ups recorded this month.
A single medical can have multiple follow-up reasons flagged at the same time (e.g. repeat audio + repeat vision).
Top referral reasons — this month

Physical examination completeness — last 12 months —
QA view: what percentage of medicals actually captured each structured vital.
No individual values shown — this is a process-quality signal, not clinical data.
Green ≥ 80% · amber 40–80% · red < 40%.

Restrictions issued — last 12 months —
Every fitness certificate with restrictions is logged against the canonical RestrictionTypes catalogue.

Workers back on duty after being signed off — this year —
Per worker: we take their latest OHS assessment this year and compare to the one immediately before. If the previous was Temporarily Unfit, the worker joins the cohort. Latest = Fit → returned fit. Latest = TU → still off / recurring. Latest = Permanently Unfit → escalated. One row per worker; serial TU workers don't double-count. A leaking rehab or case-management pipeline shows up here before it shows up anywhere else.
No workers with a previous Temporarily Unfit outcome this year.
Return-to-duty rate by site — lowest first —
Sites ranked worst-to-best by % of workers whose previous assessment was Temporarily Unfit and whose latest is now Fit. Each case is attributed to the site where the TU was signed off. Fewer than 5 workers at a site is suppressed.

Hearing changes over 3 years —
Each worker's hearing is compared against their first (baseline) hearing test as the South African mining-health rules require. Workers without a baseline test on file aren't counted — a later test with nothing to compare it to isn't useful. We flag a worker when their hearing has clearly dropped at the frequencies that matter for speech. Cases serious enough to notify the regulator are shown separately below.
No audiometry activity for this scope.
Sites with the most hearing changes —
Sites ranked by the share of hearing tests this year that flagged a drop vs the worker's baseline. Sites with fewer than 5 tests are hidden to protect privacy. A high rate at a site means noise control + PPE + rotation at that site needs attention.

Lung function over 3 years —
Average lung capacity (how much air a worker can breathe out, compared to a healthy person their age and height) and the share of tests the nurse signed as abnormal — meaning the airways look narrowed, lung expansion is limited, or both. If the average drops or the abnormal share rises at a site, that's a dust / chemical / ventilation signal to investigate.
No lung function activity for this scope.
Sites with the most abnormal lung tests —
Sites ranked by the share of lung function tests classified as abnormal (narrowed airways, limited expansion, or both) over the last 12 months. Sites with fewer than 5 tests are hidden to protect privacy. A persistently high rate at one site = time for a ventilation / PPE / dust-exposure review.
